Petrovac

A gentle seaside town with sandy beaches, pines and a charming promenade.

Petrovac is a calm haven on the Montenegrin coast — a town in a green bay, with sandy beaches shaded by pines. Its promenade, filled with the scent of the sea and Mediterranean greenery, is one of the loveliest waterfront walks on the coast.

Just off Petrovac, a few hundred metres from the shore, rise two islets — Katič and Sveta Nedjelja, with a small chapel that can be seen from every beach. It is a scene best taken in from the sea, as the boat glides slowly past them.

The coves around Petrovac, such as Lučice and the Red Beach, offer shelter and quiet far from the summer crowds. A few strokes from the town are enough to find yourself in a spot where nothing is heard but the sea.
