Sveti Stefan

Sveti Stefan is the emblem of the Montenegrin coast — a small rocky islet joined to the mainland by a narrow isthmus, once a fishing village and today one of the best-known hotels on the Adriatic.

From land the island is only half-visible, behind pines and beaches. The real view opens only from the sea: red roofs clustered on the rock, pink beaches on either side of the isthmus, and the Miločer park in its greenery. That is why Sveti Stefan is a favourite point on our tours — the boat slows down, and the deck becomes the finest viewpoint.

On the full-day cruise we pass the island between Budva and Petrovac, close enough to pick out every detail of the isthmus. The island is private and closed to visitors, but the view from the sea — and the photo you take home — is hard to match anywhere on this coast.
